Guam - Seven Guam residents are currently enrolled at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, preparing for service as officers. Congresswoman Madeleine Bordallo made a visit to Guam's Midshipmen at the Academy today.
Bordallo states, "This year, I was excited to see Midshipman Sasai and Midshipman Flynn join their classmates from Guam and myself for lunch today. The two of them graduated last year from the Naval Academy Preparatory School in Newport, Rhode Island, and will soon complete their freshman year, called Plebe Year, at the USNA.
"I urged each of them to continue working hard for their graduation and I look forward to their service as officers in the U.S. Navy or U.S. Marine Corps."
