Guam - "Baby Joe" Taimanglo is Guam's top 145-pound fighter and on Saturday night he'll will look to hold it down at the University of Guam Field House when he takes on Korean Top Team Fighter Bae Chan Ho. Baby Joe is coming off a submission win against Mui Thai Fighter Per Eklund in Pro Fighting 3 in Taipei City, Taiwan.

Taimanglo told KUAM Sports, "I feel really great coming into this fight a lot of things have changed, just upping a lot of the standup. I'm really trying to work up the standup; I know this guy is a Mui Thai fighter so I'm really looking forward to fighting a stand up battle with this guy. A lot of the new stuff that I picked up that are different in my training regiment is cross fitting with Jason Cunliffe and I have Ryan Bigler helping me out and all the boy's here at Spike 22. We're just doing something a little bit different but always the same, same mentality same thing always just going in there to win."

Taimanglo's training partner, Hosea Ware, has been on a tough journey of his own, losing his last two fights off-island. Ware lost in Deep Japan against Ryuta Sakurai, who has 40 fights under his belt and in Trench Warz 11 to Russian Fighter Iliev Ismail, who trains with Army Hand-2-Hand Combat. Ware is a very tough fighter who continues to get better with every fight unleashing more of his fighting skills every time he steps into the cage.

He said, "Coming into this fight, I have been training real hard; I had two other fights off-island: one in Japan, which I lost, and one in Saipan, which I lost. I fought two very game opponents, so I took that as an experience and I came back to Guam and trained even harder. I'm running in the morning I have cardio and weight training in the morning. When I get off work in the afternoon at 3pm, I come to Spike 22 and work on my Wrestling, Jiu-Jitsu, Kick Boxing all of those things just to up my MMA game."

Alex Castro is back fighting for the third time at 145-pounds. His last two fights have been against Baby Joe, where he has shown tremendous improvement in both his standup and ground game. Castro has some of the best hands in the sport and will look to mix it up this time around after adding new workouts in camp.

"I kind of switched it up this fighting program," he said.  "I did a lot more weight training and a lot more conditioning and a lot more Jiu-Jitsu and Wrestling. Just look forward to me being an al around fighter this time possibly even taking it to the ground. Just whatever he brings my way I'm going to take it and capitalize off of it."

In a fight between local boys, Ronny Borja is set to take on Robert Wusstig at 155-pounds. Borja made his debut in PXC 18 a memorable one when he took on Spike 22fighter A.J Aguon. Ronny stood toe to toe with Aguon letting everything go in the cage proving that he's willing to stand and bang if he has to.
