iPad users experiencing Wi-Fi woes

Guam - iPad owners having trouble with their Wi-Fi connectivity may have to worry a bit longer.  Apple has yet to come out with corrections to connectivity problems.

When Apple first came out with the iPad, I wondered if there would be any Wi-Fi connectivity problems, considering I have my own wireless connectivity problems with my PC notebook.

I noticed over a week ago that Apple's main website iPad users were posting their frustration on Apple's support forums.  Users generally complained that the Wi-Fi signal has issues connecting to Wi-Fi networks and difficulty retaining a steady signal when it does connect.

In response, pointing the finger at third party Wi-Fi routers.  On the other hand, even die hard MAC users have said they are also experiencing issues with connectivity while connected to Apple's "Airport" routers, and the website Theories on the support forums range from software issues to a hardware problem involving a misaligned Wi-Fi antennae inside the iPad.

Whatever the root of the problem may be, it is apparent that Apple is taking the issue seriously, but despite their potential fixes, users continue to report connectivity issues and Apple has not released any software downloads or patches for people that spent hundreds of dollars for iPads.  With over 300,000 iPads sold the first weekend, this could either be a minor bump in the road for a minority of users, or the first sign of trouble in Cupertino.

Don't worry though iPad users, as soon as there's a fix, you'll be the first to know.
