Human trafficking/sexual assault forum concludes

Guam - Ensuring victims of sexual abuse receive the services they need is the focus of a human trafficking, sexual assault and domestic violence conference, sponsored by the Office of the Attorney General.  AG Alicia Limtiaco says similar training was held in 2007, telling KUAM News, "This year we are looking at human trafficking, a very current issue of critical concern to everyone nationally and internationally, as well as sexual assault and domestic violence.  All topics have common issues."

Three trainers from the National District Attorneys Association are conducting training on wide range of topics.  Senior attorney for the National Center for the Prosecution of Child Abuse Rami Badawy says they broke down into smaller groups to share information and feedback.

Today was the last day of the training forum, which began on Wednesday.
