CIA holds recruitment session at UOG today

GUAM - The Central Intelligence Agency conducted an on–campus recruitment and information session today at the University of Guam.

Representatives discussed the CIA mission, career and internship opportunities along with the employment and security clearance process.

According to UOG career placement officer Leah Beth Naholowaa, the CIA was on Guam back in March.

Naholowaa states, "Out of that session last March, they came back and interviewed three possible hiring so we're very excited about that and they're looking for some more people. Anyone who's interested, they might be back in may."

UOG sophomore Carlo Tambora was one of a number of students who attended today's event in hopes to learn more about CIA recruitment.

"It's another option for our future. Instead of having that mindset that there are only certain jobs here, that there are more jobs out there, more opportunities and other futures out there," Tambora explained.
