The Guam Education Policy Board recently approved the proposed makeup day calendar for the JFK High School Islanders. According to Assistant Principal Bobby Roberto, while other public school students will be out of school on December 21, JFK students and faculty members will have to report to class on that day through the 23rd and will return back on January 4.
She told KUAM News, "Basically, we were locked on with what the board proposed. What we did was we included some days where students are released at half day, so we can work on accreditation matters so we included that in our makeup calendar and we added three extra days at the end of the school year just in case we have a storm or a typhoon."
