Student caught with drugs withdraws from SHS

The Southern High School junior who was caught with marijuana during a random search last week withdrew from school today - the same day he was to go before a disciplinary committee.

The Santa Rita campus was placed on lockdown after police, corrections and customs officers conducted a sweep last Thursday. Instead of appearing before the committee, the student withdrew.
