Troy Morrison pleads not guilty

Police Officer Troy Morrison pleaded not guilty to numerous criminal charges and asserted his right to a speedy trial during a court hearing today.  Morrison is accused of assaulting a woman known to him and threatening to kill her.

A criminal trial setting is scheduled for October 14, and Morrison remains on administrative leave from the police force.
