The owner of Associates in Clinical Psychology, Dr. Marc Zackheim, will spend more than a year behind bars following a sentencing hearing in South Bend, Indiana today. Several months ago Zackheim pleaded guilty to Medicaid fraud after the FBI raided his group homes in Indiana.
The Guam Department of Mental Health had intended to award Zackheim a contract for therapeutic group home services on Guam but the agency was ordered to redo the request for proposal. According to the U.S. Attorney's Office in Indiana, Zackheim was sentenced to 13 months behind bars.
