Gecko upperclassmen celebrate annual Senior Picnic

Ypao Beach in Tumon Bay was rockin' recently, as I spoke with one of the chairpersons, Geri Eclavea, who gave me information on the event being celebrated and what its purpose was. "The event is the GWHS Class of 2005 Senior Picnic, and the purpose of this event is to boost the senior morale at GW. With this event were hoping to bring all the seniors together and just to encourage them to keep coming out for senior year.

"You know, we want to have fun we want to be together we want to remember everyone so that's why were having this event," she said.

Dominique Balajadia, a senior at GW High, explained one thing she would remember about her senior picnic. She told The Beat, "Well one thing that I will remember about the senior picnic how everybody took the time out to come out here especially on a Saturday to actually come and join together especially the parents that come to support us so this is one thing I'm going to remember how we all got together to have a good day."

Another senior, Jimmy Tenorio, gave his input on what he would remember. "One thing I remembered about senior picnic is that I craved BBQ for so long, I came early," he said. "And the schedule is all bad it's alright it still ended up good, everyone here's having fun."

So seniors, this is your last year, enjoy it while it lasts.
