Charges dismissed against Jeromy Pangelinan, case consolidated

A superior court judge has dismissed attempted murder, kidnapping, and aggravated assault charges against Jeromy Moe Pangelinan—without prejudice, meaning the case can still be revisited.
Judge Maria Cenzon granted prosecutors’ request Monday, confirming the charges are now consolidated into a separate felony case being handled by Judge Alberto Tolentino.
Pangelinan, who did not appear in court, is facing 11 criminal cases tied to shootings, carjackings, and weapons offenses. The dismissed charges stemmed from an April attack on Michael Blas, in which Pangelinan was charged alongside his siblings. One brother has already been found guilty.
Prosecutors say the consolidation streamlines the proceedings. Pangelinan’s remaining charges include terroristic conduct, firearm possession, and drug possession.
