Complaint: Man recorded child showering, told police he was ‘messing around’

A man is under arrest accused of filming a 12-year-old girl while she was in the shower.

Forty-six-year-old Edward Prens is charged twice with invasion of privacy.

Court documents state the child was using the outside shower at a Yigo residence when she heard a camera shutter sound.

The alleged victim then spotted a cell phone behind a fence before yelling for the suspect to stop taking pictures of her.

Prens allegedly denied taking the photos.

But footage on his phone showed the child, documents state.

Prens later allegedly admitted to recording the video stating he “was just messing around.”
