A drug dealer is senteced to three years in the U.S. Bureau of Prisons.

Dominic Joshua Cruz learned his fate before Chief Judge Frances Tydingco-Gatewood in the District Court of Guam.

The court recommended he serve his time at Sheridan Federal Correctional Institution in Oregon.

Cruz will also serve two years’ supervised release.

As KUAM reported, the federal investigation goes back to last October – when Cruz was caught pushing drugs on our streets. Court documents state Cruz was caught after he sold more than 55 grams of meth in Dededo.

He pleaded guilty to distribution of methamphetamine hydrochloride.
