Branty Walliby gets 21 years for manslaughter

The man convicted in a deadly beating in Dededo will spend 21 years in prison.

Branty Walliby is sentenced before Judge Alberto Tolentino in Superior Court today.

Walliby and his brother Jerron were accused in the deadly 2022 attack along Fatima Road that claimed the life of Arnold Narruhn.

Last December, a jury convicted Branty of manslaughter, aggravated assault and assault.

Prosecutors noted Branty never expressed remorse for the crime, adding he is not a U.S. citizen and faces deportation.

As reported, his brother Jerron has since admitted to his role in the killing.
