To celebrate Guam Animals in Need's 35th anniversary, PDC Wholesale and some wonderful people passionate about our furry friends have planned Pet Fest Guam 2024! GAIN executive director Alison Hadley told KUAM News, "We want to celebrate by being involved with the community, because it is the community that keeps us going and keeps us afloat. And that's what we want to put our pets out into the world for. And so PetFest is a perfect venue for that for GAIN itself as well as other animal welfare parts of the community."

Now, this isn't your average interspecies hangout. It's an experience featuring fun surprises around every corner – and a doggy obstacle course! "It's basically going to be a Milk-Bone dog park," explained PDC Wholesale's Angelana Sablan. "We'll have a 30'-x-80' area with an obstacle course in it. And it's going to be divided for both small dogs and larger dogs."

There'll be something for everyone at Ypao Beach on April 6.  LYT Restaurant and Bar's Helen Li, one of the leading coordinators, shared, "There's going to be puppy yoga, we have a dog contest, and also we have dog training, as well. So basically any dog lovers or animal lovers in general that are curious about how to train your animals or how to do puppy yoga, please come by!"

Register now at PETFESTGUAM.com and fill out the liability form for cool giveaways. Then, book time to be at Ypao Beach Park's amphitheater on April 6 starting at 10.

Li offered a final, can't-afford-to-miss-out invite, saying, "We also have a beer garden, we also have a a bouncy house and also a kids corner, and also we have spa as well, so it's really a fun time for all. The moms can go to the spa and get the jewelry and accessories for the kids and dogs, and then the dads and brothers can go to the beer garden. And then the kids can go to the bouncy house.

"And then also because it's a festival, there'll be a seating area and you can sit in the grass in the blanket and watch the show so the grandmas can love that, as well."
