The recent death of a 70-year-old man marks the island's 407th COVID-related fatality. 

According to the Joint Information Center, the man died at the Guam Regional Medical City on Nove. 14. He was vaccinated with a booster and had no underlying health conditions. 

“Jeff, Josh, and I send our condolences to his family,” said Gov. Lou Leon Guerrero. “As we prepare for the holidays, remember your efforts to combat COVID-19 and avoid gatherings if you are sick.”

Also, the JIC reported another 150 new cases of COVID from 1,381 tests administered over the weekend. And there where six people hospitlaized with the virus, two who are under ICU care.
