Man discovered in woman's living room charged with criminal trespass, unlawful restraint

Posted: Updated:

She had let her dogs out through a sliding glass door in the morning, and later found a man inside her living room. It was a frightening moment for the victim who says John Anthony Salas told her he hadn't rested for two days, just came from running all morning, and was from New York.

Fearing for her life, the victim couldn't call but managed to send a text message for help. Her neighbor and the Chalan Pago Mayor and his staff responded.

The 29-year-old ran out of the home, but police caught him.

Salas was charged with criminal trespass and unlawful restraint, both as misdemeanors.
