After reports of gunfire near an Agat store, one man was
busted with more than a firearm in his vehicle.

According to court documents, police responded to the report of gunshots near the store coming from a maroon Nissan vehicle on May 8. They found a car matching the description leaving the area and conducted a search.

The driver of the vehicle, Eugene Marcus Pocaigue Miner, was given a pat down. He told police he had a silver handgun on the rear floorboard of his car. Police noted the gun had two of six rounds expended.

Miner did not have a firearm's ID and also told police he had ice paraphernalia in the front passenger floorboard, court documents state. Inside the bag were two clear glass improvised pipes with unknown charred crystalline substance. Using a field test kit, the pipe proved presumptive positive for amphetamines.

Miner was charged with Possession of a Firearm without an Identification Card as a third degree felony and Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance as a third degree felony.
