Kelly Taimanglo accused of choking pregnant woman

36-year-old Kelly Maanao Gene Taimanglo faces charges of Strangulation and Family Violence. According to court documents police responded to an incident that happened on Friday at around 6:40pm at a residence in Tamuning. Before police arrived Taimanglo and a pregnant woman were arguing.

He is accused of choking her several times, throwing her on a bed and slapping her. The woman at one point threw a baking pan at him. She eventually managed to call her mother, who told her to go downstairs and wait for the police. When officers arrived they saw scratches and abrasions on her neck.

Taimanglo denied ever hitting the woman and said that he had tried to push her out of his residence that night.

Court Documents state that while awaiting transport for processing at Tumon Precinct, Taimanglo was overhead allegedly yelling, among other things: “She better get arrested!" "l'm the one that got hit!" "That fu*** bit**!" "She better get arrested! I don't give a sh*t if she's pregnant!"
