Police need help identifying Agat crash victim

Posted: Updated:

Highway Patrol is Investigating the 8th traffic-related fatality of the year.

A man driving Suzuki Grand Vitara crashed into a guard rail in Agat just before two o'clock this morning. The crash happened along Route 2 and 2A.

The Guam Police Department is turning to the public to identify the victim because he had no form of identification on him, Spokesman Sgt. Paul Tapao said.

"This is really critical because as we move forward with the investigation, we need to do...a whole slew of other interviews relative to this crash investigation," he said.

Investigators are looking into whether speed, alcohol or drugs could be factors in the crash.

If you have any information on this case, you're asked to call GPD dispatch at 472-89111 or 475-8615-7.
