Veterans Town Hall set for Tuesday

In anticipation of a visit to Guam from representatives from the Department of Veterans Affairs a Veterans Town Hall Teleconference will be held on Tuesday at the Guam Community College. 

The town hall will focus on the following issues: Support for veterans' service organization, improvements to Guam's Community Block Outreach Clinic, and grant assistance to veterans in need of medical help.

In anticipation of a visit to Guam from representatives from the Department of Veterans Affairs, a Veterans Town Hall Teleconference will be held on Tuesday at the Guam Community College.  The town hall will focus on the following issues: Support for veterans' service organization, improvements to Guam's Community Block Outreach Clinic, and grant assistance to veterans in need of medical help.

Federal representatives that will be participating in the teleconference are:· Mr. Edward A. "Ted" Diaz, Management and Program Analyst, Office of Intergovernmental Affairs;· Mr. Ronald M. Sagudan, Program Analyst and Asian/Pacific Islander American Veterans Liaison, Center for Minority Veterans;· Mr. David Gai, Digital Engagement Specialist, Veterans Health Administration; and· Mr. Jason Beardsley. The Veterans Town Hall Teleconference is being hosted by Sen. Regine Biscoe Lee.

She is the Committee Chair on Federal and Foreign Affairs. The town hall gets underway Tuesday at 8 a.m. in GCC's Multipurpose Room, Building 400.
