Rev & Tax says lines for eleventh-hour filers move smoothly

Posted: Updated:

Not much congestion to speak of on Tax Day. Today was the deadline to file income tax returns, and the Department of Revenue and Taxation Director Dafne Shimizu said in a statement that things went smoothly.

The lines at the various filing locations weren't very long and taxpayers seemed to be "moving quite quickly," she said.

Also, staff were stationed at their counters to assist filers.

DRT was also accepting non-cash transactions at the center courts of the Micronesia Mall and the Agana Shopping Center. Payments were also being accepted at Treasurer of Guam locations.
