Adelup applies for several grants

The Leon Guerrero-Tenorio administration has submitted several grant applications for the Department of the Interior's Technical Assistance Program. They have applied for the following:

to strengthen economy:

- $125,000 for the Guam Economic Development Authority

- $150,000 for the Bureau of Stats and Plans

to improve efficiency through technology:

- $150,000 for Guam Customs and Quarantine Agency

-$300,500 for BSP to provide a needs assessment in order to start the process of overhauling the outdated computer systems for line agencies

And to generate more revenue for GovGuam:

-$270,000 for BSP to meet federal requirements for calculating the impact of the Compacts of Free Association on public services
