Another illegal dump caught on camera

Posted: Updated:

While one illegal dump was cleaned, another one was sprouting up. Victor Brian San Gil posted pictures on Facebook of people caught on camera illegally dumping behind his family's property. San Gil tells KUAM News the individuals who were in a white truck split when they were caught.

KUAM News has confirmed the Guam Environmental Protection Agency received a complaint this morning and sent investigators to the site.

Meanwhile, KUAM found the truck with matching plates parked outside this apartment complex in the Harmon area.

KUAM News: Do you know who owns this truck?

RESIDENT: Why?

KUAM News: because this is the truck they found illegally dumping yesterday, it was posted on Facebook with the same license plate?

RESIDENT: No, this are my friend.

KUAM News: Your friend, is your friend here?

RESIDENT: No.

The individual we spoke with then walked inside the apartment and shut the door on us. Guam EPA spokesperson Nic Lee says an active investigation is underway.
