Saipan students return to class for first time since Yutu

Earlier this week, students on Saipan returned to school for the first time since Super Typhoon Yutu. Guam Airmen from the 36th Civil Engineer Squadron, the 254th Rapid Engineer Deployable Heavy Operational Repair Squadron Engineers, and Soldiers from the 302nd Quartermaster Company in Honolulu, greeted students in the morning as they walked in.

Teams of active duty, Reserve and National Guard Airmen and Soldiers have been working for weeks to clear debris in order for school to begin.
