Teen indicted for vehicular homicide in Yona

Posted: Updated:

A Superior Court grand jury indicts the teen driver in a Yona crash that killed two of his passengers. 19-year-old Javon Jermaine Taitano is charged with two counts of vehicular homicide as a second degree felony.

KUAM files show GPD's Highway Patrol investigated and concluded that not only were the roads wet, but the driver was speeding - going upwards of 76-miles per hour - before he lost control and crashed.

Simon Sanchez High School seniors Joziah Blas and Timothy Uy, both 17, died from injuries sustained in the crash.

Taitano will answer to the charges on December 12.
