Couple arrested for sexually assaulting 12-year-old

A mother and her boyfriend are placed under arrest accused of sexually assaulting a child, 12.

Police say the minor reported the alleged sexual attacks to officials at her school. Authorities learned the victim was being sexually assaulted by a man known to her, while the female suspect would allegedly hold her down.

Savior Jos, 41, is charged with 1st Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct; 4th Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct; Felonious Restraint; Child Abuse and Family Violence. Evleen Albert, 34, is charged with Child Abuse; Family Violence and Guilt Established by Complicity.

The case was forwarded the Guam Police Department’s Domestic Assault Response Team for follow-up. Authorities worked with Child Protective Services and Healing Hearts on the investigation to ensure the safety and care of the victim and the victim’s siblings.

The case has been forwarded to the Office of the Attorney General for prosecution.
