Thousands attended the MBC K-Pop Concert on Saturday at the Governor Joseph F. Flores Memorial Park in Tumon. The free event, hosted by the Guam Visitors Bureau, featured top K-Pop groups: Supernova, Mighty Mouth, Elris, HUB, JBJ05 with main act, girl group, Twice.
GVB Vice President Tony Muna said, "Just from initial numbers, it looks like 25 to 30 percent were actually visitors that came in for the concert. So, it's a really great mix of the local community and our visitors coming together for this event."
The family friendly concert was filmed for 90-minute made-for-TV show that will be broadcasted across Asia on MBC networks, being viewed by over 23 million people.
