GAIN sends animal support team to CNMI

Posted: Updated:

It's not only our brothers and sisters up north that need our help…but their furry friends, too. Guam Animals In Need has sent a disaster relief team to Saipan and Tinian following Super Typhoon Yutu.

The three-member team arrived on Monday and includes visiting veterinarian Dr. Joanna Swanson. Their mission is to provide care to animals, help shelter repairs and conduct assessments for FEMA.

They've also brought with them 200-pounds of medicine, medical supplies, pallets of pet food and animal shelter supplies.

If you want to provide support, GAIN will be collecting donations of dog and cat food as well as kitty litter at their Yigo location which will be transported by Triple B Forwarders.

For more information on how you can help, visit GAIN's Facebook page.
