As of Friday morning, GPA says 93% of feeder lines are energized. GPA crews continue to work through the night in Southern villages, and pocket areas across the island.
We caught up with two crews heading north to Dededo and Yigo. Ramon Chito Ceriano was part of the crew heading to Machanao, Dededo, who says GPA is continuing to work to power homes in challenging areas up North, as he said, "We're working 16 hours every day…we just tell them that we'll see and try our best to give you power."
GPA does warn that even if you do have power you might see fluctuations, reminding the community to stay clear of dangerous fallen lines that can spark.
Officials are expecting power to be restored Saturday down south and thank the community for their patience.
