Joseph B. Pangelinan Jr. sentenced for possessing child pornography

A man busted with thousands of images of child pornography will spend the next eight years in jail.

Joseph B. Pangelinan Jr. was sentenced in the District Court of Guam recently.

He pleaded guilty to utilizing peer-to-peer networks to receive 2,280 images and 17 movies depicting young children engaged in sexual acts.

The court also ordered he pay $17,000 in restitution for the child victims and register with the sex offender registry.
