Science Sunday talk goes deep into the Marianas National Monument this weekend

This weekend's Science Sunday feature heads into the deepest part of the ocean with a presentation on the Marianas National Monument.

Abigail Gritis, summer fellow with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, will share special features of the monument in our region. Learn more about biological, geographical and current research efforts to explore this unique national monument here in the Marianas.

Science Sunday will be held at 2 p.m., July 15 at the War in the Pacific National Historical Park's T. Stell Newman Visitor Center in Sumay

The monthly event is coordinated by the Guam Community Coral Reef Monitoring program. It features current research projects and topics happening on Guam and the Micronesian region. It’s open to all ages and no pre-registration is required.
