Two major meth busts happened in May

Over six pounds of the drug "ICE" in the mail. Federal search and seizure warrants filed in the District Court of Guam this week show two major busts in May.

The first package was sent to a Chalan Pago home and contained 459-grams of methamphetamine.

The second package, which was addressed to an Agat home, contained 2,291-grams.

Though recipients' names are shown, no arrests or charges appear to have been filed.

    One person is dead after being hit by a car in Tamuning early Sunday. It happened along Governor Carlos Camacho road near Santa Fe around 6 am. The crash forced police to temporarily close off the northbound lanes. It’s since been reopened. GPD has yet to release further details but officers are investigating. This marks the 23rd traffic related death of the year.
