This time of the year, thousands of you are probably attending graduation ceremonies. But at Saint Anthony's Catholic School it was more than just that. It was a homecoming.

Dozens of kindergartners at SACS lined up ready to cross the stage and receive their certificates of promotion, but for one little six-year-old, Levi, today is gonna be extra special. Sabrina Santos is his mother, saying, "Levi has no idea about his dad arriving to Guam. He has no idea. He thinks his dad couldn't make it because his work said no."

Her husband Garrett, joined the marine corps six years ago and hasn't seen his son in almost one year. "It's my third time being away," he said. "I guess it  gets easier but the older they get missing birthdays and holidays, it's as rough as it get."

Sabrina said, "He misses his dad a lot; he talks about him all the time everyday. It's been hard to watch him grow through face time and videos and photos. It's been pretty hard."

But that's about to change. While Levi is lining up to get his certificate. His dad is with his mom Flo waiting behind the stage to reunite with his son. We should add this is also the first time he's seen his mom in almost three years

As Levi's name is called he still oblivious of what's about to happen. With a wave to the audience and eventually all the students called to the stage to perform a song for their parents. The moment finally arrives.

When asked what he son said to him, Garrett said, "He said I thought you were in North Carolina! He's a character he was either going to stand there and stare at me and make a goofy face and he did."

When asked what he plans to do with his daddy now that he's here, Levin told KUAM News, "I'd like to play with him," adding either fighting or wrestling.

Welcome home Garrett and congratulations Levi!
