After extensive interviews with the nine semi finalists, three stood out to the Presidential Search Committee.

Officials say the finalists will be invited to visit the University campus to meet with students, faculty, the Board of Regents, and interim President Dr. Robert Underwood, who is set to retire next month. The finalist's have not yet been identified. The dates of their visit have yet to be announced, but Chairman William Leon Guerrero confirmed the Board will make an offer to their candidate of choice after each visit is made. Meantime, a resolution presentation was also held Tuesday afternoon at the Guam Congress Building to recognize Dr. Underwood for his 29 years of service with the government and UOG.
