22-year-old faces family violence, assault, and criminal charges

A 22 year old woman caught on a cell phone video last Summer stopping and hitting cars along route 3 in Dededo is now facing criminal charges.
Reykina Jaypot Okaruru is charged with two counts of assault on a police officer, criminal mischief, assault, and reckless conduct, and disorderly conduct.
It happened back on July 15th of last year.
Court documents state, the suspect is accused of running into oncoming traffic and hitting several cars.
Family members tried to restrain her...
That's when a superior court marshal passing by tried to assist. The suspect allegedly grabbed her leg and bit her ankle.
The suspect also remained combative after being put into the backseat of a cop car. Officers had to use a stun gun to control her. She is even accused of kicking an officer, while at the holding cell at the Dededo Precinct.
Okaruru is also charged with family violence and assault for a separate incident reported to police just last week.
