Young boy, cops hospitalized after Ordot crash

Posted: Updated:

A nine year old boy and two police officers are rushed to the hospital after a crash involving a school bus in Ordot early today.

It happened around 7am along route 4 near the Shine Market intersection.

Police say the two officers, who are assigned as the Lt. Governor's executive security detail, were inside the Lincoln Navigator. They were the only two inside the car at the time of the crash. Investigators say the cops were at a stop when the driver of the Guam Adventist Academy bus failed to give enough clearance, and hit the SUV from behind. Responding medics checked all of the students at the scene. School officials say one student experienced pain in his right arm. He along with the two officers was taken to GMH for observation, but they are doing ok. The student even told his parents that he was ready to go back to school today.

GPD's Highway Patrol division is investigating.
