Posted: Updated:

Christmas is just around the corner....

The legislature will celebrate with a Christmas tree lighting and open house event from 6 to 8 pm tonight. Each tree was decorated by a senator, and in the spirit of giving, trees support local charities like Make-a-Wish foundation and Alee Shelter.

The trees will be up all month, with open houses every Friday.
