She allegedly stole over $75,000 in designer bags and jewelry.
Court documents state 27-year-old Teresa Maria Gumataotao Crisostomo worked as a housekeeper when her employer's valuables suddenly turned up missing. The victim and her assistant confronted Crisostomo who turned over some of the items, then made a run for it, but was caught.
Crisostomo reportedly admitted to pawning a diamond ring and some jewelry for $700. Her confession was recorded and turned over to authorities. Less than a third of reported stolen goods were recovered. Crisostomo was arrested and charged with theft of property as a second-degree felony.
