He's the 31st victim to file suit against the Archdiocese of Agana. 45-year-old James A. Mafnas alleges he was sexually molested by former priest, Father Raymond Cepeda.

His complaint was filed in the District Court of Guam today. Court documents state Mafnas was a confirmation student at San Vicente Ferrer-San Roke Catholic Church in Barrigada when he was forced to engage in sex acts with the priest during a confirmation retreat.

The retreat took place at Coco's Island Resort. Because Mafnas couldn't afford food at the resort, he packed his own and was punished by Cepeda. Part of his punishment was to sleep on Cepeda's bungalow floor. That evening, Mafnas awoke to Cepeda performing sex acts on him.

KUAM files show Cepeda was laicized, or removed as a priest, in December 2009. Mafnas is suing for $5 million in damages.
