No jail time for the brother and sister charged in federal court for visa fraud. Guam Construction Company President and Treasurer Byong Kang was sentenced to three years probation and 14 months of home confinement while Vice President Choon Kang was sentenced to three years of supervised release.

The court considered their elderly age and their medical conditions during sentencing. KUAM files show from 2004 to 2010, the siblings conspired to commit visa fraud by instructing workers to revise their job applications, resumes, and support employment documents to falsely match their petitioned occupations as well as instructed applicants to obtain false employment certifications.
