2015 San Isidro Malojloj Fiesta Festival
The Feast of San Isidro, patron saint of the farmers scheduled to take place on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, May 15th – 17th, 2015 has been re-scheduled to May 22nd - 24th, 2015. The opening ceremony on Friday, May 22 at 7:30 p.m. will be the crowning of our Rai and La Raina Fiestan San Isidro..
Then on Saturday, February 23rd, the San Isidro Fiesta festival continues with the Festal Mass at 4:00 p.m. followed by procession and the traditional "Na Taotao Tu Manu" hosted by Malojloj Christian Mothers. Entertainment begins at 6:00 p.m. to include local recording artists and dance performance from numerous cultural and entertainment groups and then concludes the following day on Sunday, May 24th, a fiesta celebrations at the homes. The Float Parade will begin at 3:00pm with Cultural Sports events afterwards at the Church Ground Fair. Nightly entertainment continues until 12 midnight fiesta festival ends.
In addition to the delicious food from our concessionaires, there will be game booths, arts and crafts, nursery plants and farm produce which highlights the feast of San Isidro. The public is encouraged to participate for prizes in talaya (fishnet throwing), grease pole climbing, coconut husking and grating, and tuba drinking contest.

Guam Micronesia Island Fair rescheduled for June 12th-14th
(Wednesday, May 13, 2015 - Tumon, Guam) Please be advised that due to the Typhoon Watch declared for Guam, the 28th Guam Micronesia Island Fair (GMIF), previously scheduled for this weekend (May 15-17, 2015) has been rescheduled to June 12, 13 and 14, 2015. The fair will open from 12 noon to 9:00 p.m. each day.
GMIF delegations have been contacted and we look forward to confirming additional details. Furthermore, the Mana'o Company has confirmed they will still be performing for this GVB signature event. The complete entertainment line-up will be announced soon.
Vendor packet pick up will be available at the Guam Visitors Bureau in Tumon beginning on Monday, June 8.
WAR IN THE PACIFIC NATIONAL HISTORICAL PARK CLOSED
War in the Pacific National Historical Park announces that, due to impending Typhoon Dolphin, the T. Stell Newman Visitor Center is closed. The park, restrooms, gates, and all facilities will be closed by today. All scheduled programs and reservations will be cancelled until it is safe to reopen.
The closure may be extended through and some park areas or facilities may remain closed if needed. The park will resume normal operations when Guam is in COR 4. We apologize for the inconvenience of closures, but they are necessary for visitor and park safety.

COMMUNITY FIRST GUAM FCU BUSINESS HOURS

GUAM NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE
In the public's best interest and in preparation for the upcoming typhoon, the Guam National Wildlife Refuge, Ritidian Unit, will be closed on May 14 & 15, 2015 (Thurs/Fri). All previously confirmed programs, tours and visits are cancelled. Weather-permitting, the Refuge may resume normal operations on Saturday, 16 May, 2015.
