Man and woman arrested for child abuse

Guam - A 28-year-old woman and 40-year-old man have been arrested for child abuse. According to police spokesperson officer AJ Balajadia, Pensy Neomy is accused of beating a young girl with a broomstick while Win Mariano allegedly watched. It was a relative that brought the young girl to the Dededo Precinct to report the abuse.  Neomy and Mariano were booked and confined. Child Protective Services took custody of the girl who had to be medically treated for her injuries.
