Guam - A 30-year-old man has been arrested, accused of assaulting and robbing a pregnant Korean tourist in the parking lot of GPO in Tamuning on Saturday.

Anthony Matagolai is accused of snatching the woman's purse. As he fled toward the Tamuning Fire Station, witnesses at the Tamuning Gym ran after him and caught him.
The tourist was transported to the Guam Memorial Hospital for her injuries. She was treated and released.

KUAM has learned that the witnesses who helped the pregnant woman were Federated States of Micronesia Basketball players, who were at the Tamuning Gym for a championship game.

Matagolai was booked and confined.
