Family caregiver arrested for drugs

Guam - A family caregiver is arrested on drug charges after someone from the household reports her.  Court documents state the individual was packing Mary Jane San Nicolas Cruz's belongings when he found drug paraphernalia in a pouch inside a backpack.  Officers found suspected methamphetamine in a fabricated glass bulb as well as cut sealed straws with residue. Both items tested positive for methamphetamine. According to court documents although Cruz admitted the pouch and backpack belonged to her she denied the drugs were hers. Cruz was booked and confined.
