Guam - While Decision 2014 has been closed since late November, candidates who reported a surplus or deficit in their election campaign contributions and expenditures report following the general election were required to submit their supplemental report by Monday. Supplemental reports indicate whether a candidate has been able to dispose of the extra funds or eliminate their deficit. According to the GEC, as of this afternoon, 11 candidates along with one party have failed to meet the deadline. The GEC encourages those who have not submitted a supplemental report to do so as soon as possible. The GEC in the meantime will meet on January 15 to further discuss the matter.
