Guam - He's accused of stealing eggplants and hot peppers from his former boss.

According to court documents, Charlie Wia was arrested and charged with theft. The victim brought police to his farm where they observed Wia carrying a white bucket filled with eggplants. Wia told police “he was going to sell eggplants and buy vodka with it.”

Three five gallon buckets of eggplants and a small bag of hot peppers were confiscated from Wia. The produce is estimated to value up to $200.

Wia is on pre-trial release for two other cases and was ordered not to possess or consume alcohol as part of his release conditions.
