Guam - The Guam Election Commission reminds voters that in-office absentee voting ends at the end of this week. Executive director Maria Pangelinan says as of today, 744 voters have taken advantage of in-office absentee voting at the GEC offices in Hagatna.

"In office voting ends on Friday Halloween October 31 at 5pm we need to know it ends at 5 o'clock to make sure that we keep good accounting of the ballots, we get them locked up as soon as we're finished processing every night," she said.

In-office voting is for registered voters who will either be off-island on November 4, whose work schedule prevents them from making the polls on Election Day or have disabilities. Pangelinan says the current figure is low compared to past elections. She does however add that homebound voting has reached record numbers with 409 people already serviced.
