Guam -A man driving a 2004 Toyota Matrix struck a 34-year-old man who walked on to Marine Corps Drive just before 9:30pm Sunday in Dededo. According to Police Spokesperson AJ Balajadia the incident occurred near American Grocery. The driver was heading south when the pedestrian entered the road from the field across the grocery store. Balajadia added the man appeared drunk. He was taken to GMH treatment of a laceration to his elbow. The case was forwarded to Guam Highway Patrol.
The Legislative Ethics Committee has dismissed the complaint against Senator Fernando Esteves, and says it considers the matter closed. Resident Barry Mead filed the complaint against Esteves for his role in a protest earlier this year against the live fire training range at Andersen Air Force Base's Northwest Field.More >>
