Guam - The Guam Premier Outlets will be hosting the Russ Robinson Memorial Golf Tournament on Saturday November 1st at the Leo Palace Resort. The format is a 4-Man best Ball at a cost of $500.00 per team. Show time is at 11:00 am with shotgun time scheduled for 12:00 pm.

Suzanne Perez, GPO's Director of Marketing & Operations, said, "This year we are holding our annual golf tournament in memory of Russ Robinson who was a leader in Guam's retail industry as well as a community partner. He wasn't only our boss at G.P.O and Tumon Sands Plaza but he was like family as well so we only thought that it would be fitting to dedicate this year's golf tournament in his memory. This year's beneficiary is the Guam Girl Scouts and they are our sole beneficiary for this year's golf tournament and we have some exciting hole in one prizes lined up. We have an Infinity car worth $55,000.00 courtesy of Nissan, we have $5,000.00 cash courtesy of Royal Bics, we have $7,600 worth of gas from SPPC and Cars Plus will also be putting out a vehicle for the other hole in one prize."

For more information contact Ron Young at 647-8101 or Suzanne Perez at 647-4032.

Perez added, "We are still looking for hole sponsors and players. Again this is a 4-man best ball tournament and it will be a team of 4 players. You can contact me via email if you would like to participate at slzperez@guam.net."

Government wants full payment from Ray Charles Tedtaotao Camacho

It's a $750 wedding ring, but its significance and meaning, priceless. While Ray Charles Tedtaotao Camacho is serving life behind bars, the government argues he's not being held fully accountable for his crimes. Five years ago, Camacho kidnapped and raped Monique Baza after she made a quick run to the bakery for bread. Though it's a minimal amount for the ring that was never recovered, defense has motioned to waive restitution.  The government, in its response this week, argued ...More >>
